Schedule

The schedule for the July 27–29 "Back 40" event includes a reception on Friday afternoon, July 27, at the University House at UCSC; a Saturday opening ceremony in the Chadwick Garden, followed by alumni speaker panels and an update from Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems staff; and a Saturday evening dinner in the farm fields. Other ideas include workshops on topics such as CSA, urban gardens, social justice issues, and farm-to-college programs; tours of local farms started by apprenticeship grads; and Friday night "class dinners" at your favorite Santa Cruz restaurants.
