The 50th Fund: Help Support the UCSC Farm & Garden

Garden manager Christof Bernau with students at the UCSC Farm

The Farm & Garden 50th Fund
In 2017 we want to plant the seeds of financial security for the next 50 years and beyond to ensure that future generations will learn at the Farm & Garden and that our Center’s impact will continue to grow. Although we receive a small amount of public funding, most of our research, education, and public service work is funded through donor gifts, grants, fees, and sales from our Farm & Garden sites.

Your donation to the Farm & Garden 50th Fund will help build the foundation for our next fifty years of teaching and research through vital improvements on the ground at the UC Santa Cruz Farm & Garden.

Business Sponsorship Opportunities
This 50th anniversary event, to be advertised nationally, presents a great opportunity for your business to show its support for the next generation of organic farmers and for sustainable farming and food systems research.

Restaurant Sponsorship Event Opportunities
Hosting a 10% night or other benefit is a great opportunity for your restaurant to show its support for the next generation of organic farmers and for sustainable farming and food systems research. We are happy to tailor an event that works well for your business.

To find out more about donating, including gifts of stock, or planned giving, please contact Anne Hayes, Director of Development, UCSC Social Sciences Division, 1156 High Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95064 • (831) 502-7274 • adhayes@ucsc.edu.
