Friends of the UCSC Farm & Garden announce winter 2020 community workshop schedule

The Friends of the UCSC Farm & Garden will offer a series of 2020 community workshops this winter and into spring that cover fruit tree care, sowing seeds for a spring garden, caring for roses, growing blueberries and cane berries, growing medicinal herbs, and beekeeping. Build your skill set and learn organic techniques to enhance your garden or small farm.

Workshop instructors include Orin Martin, manager of the Alan Chadwick Garden at UCSC, Matthew Sutton of Orchard Keepers, Christof Bernau, CASFS Farm garden manager, Cameron Salomon, founder of Kindred Herbs, and Emily Bondor of Santa Cruz Bee Company.
