Support Our Work

There are many ways to support the Center for Agroecology's work toward advancing an ecologically sustainable and socially just food system.

Donate

The University of California supplies only 10% of our operating budget, so we depend on private contributions, foundation gifts and grants to achieve our goals. Your support will help improve the quality of the world’s food production and help aspiring organic growers realize their dreams. Find more information about how to donate to our center, specific programs, scholarships, and special projects here.

Join the Friends of the UCSC Farm & Garden, a community-based group whose membership fees and volunteer efforts support a variety of education and scholarship programs. The Friends focus their efforts on community outreach, Farm & Garden facility improvements, and public education.

Produce Sales

Shop Farm & Garden produce at the Center for Agroecology Farmstand, which takes place at the Cowell Ranch Hay Barn at UCSC every Tuesday and Friday from noon to 6pm from mid June through late November.

You can also join the Center’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project. CSA members support the Center by purchasing a weekly share of fresh, organically grown produce and herbs. The CSA season runs for 22 weeks, starting in early June (weather permitting).

For details on the Farmstand and CSA, see the Produce Sales page.
